Deep learning has brought a series of breakthroughs in image processing. Specifically, there are significant improvements in the application of food image classification using deep learning techniques. However, very little work has been studied for the classification of food ingredients. Therefore, this paper proposes a new framework, called DeepFood which not only extracts rich and effective features from a dataset of food ingredient images using deep learning but also improves the average accuracy of multi-class classification by applying advanced machine learning techniques. First, a set of transfer learning algorithms based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are leveraged for deep feature extraction. Then, a multi-class classification algorithm is exploited based on the performance of the classifiers on each deep feature set. The DeepFood framework is evaluated on a multi-class dataset that includes 41 classes of food ingredients and 100 images for each class. Experimental results illustrate the effectiveness of the DeepFood framework for multi-class classification of food ingredients. This model that integrates ResNet deep feature sets, Information Gain (IG) feature selection, and the SMO classifier has shown its supremacy for food-ingredients recognition compared to several existing work in this area.

Vegetation high-resolution image segmentation is an important kind of target, while how to fuse image by using spatial and spectral information of GeoEye image, and make effective determination of the scale of vegetation texture segmentation is an important topic. This paper presents an algorithm of GeoEye image fusion vegetation information extraction based on blue noise measurement texture, which the vegetation information spectral response is calculated based on fast Fourier transform, in order to obtain the texture gray scale distribution of vegetation information, thus realizing accurate extraction of vegetation information. The simulation result got by the algorithm shows the deviation between NDVI index and original value index is below 0.05, which is obviously better than those obtained with the two comparison fusion algorithms of PCA transform (smaller than 0.4) and Brovey (smaller than 0.25), and provides the best parameter combination form [120,0.34,0.48]. Hence, it is an effective algorithm for high accuracy GeoEye image vegetation information acquisition.

After the global financial crisis in 2008, China had increased domestic investment, stimulated economic growth and produced a large amount of carbon emission at the same time. The impact of investment on carbon emission and emission reduction target in China has become an important research subject. Based on the input-output model, this research estimated carbon emission of every sector caused by investment, and analyzed the relationship between investment and economy as well as carbon emission. Then whether some sectors are beneficial to carbon emission reduction or not and other relevant questions are evaluated. The results show that there are significant differences in the impact of investment on economic growth and carbon emission in different sectors.

Based on the CFD method, the numerical analysis of the box girder of Gulongshan Bridge is carried out. The static wind coefficient of the bridge box girder under different working conditions is extracted,The influence of the static wind coefficient on the wind speed, the angle of attack and the beam height is analyzed, and the variation characteristics of the flow field of the box girder under various working conditions are analyzed.The results show that the influence of wind speed, angle of attack and beam height on the lift coefficient of beam section is larger, the resistance coefficient is second, and the influence of moment coefficient is not significant. As the height of the box girder increases, the flow field becomes more complex.

By using the finite element analysis software, the structural behavior analysis of the steel frame of a damaged beam end was carried out to further study the damaged steel frame structures by comparing undamaged and damaged beams (damaged in one end or two ends of the beam). The result of the analysis indicates that damage has a great impact on the horizontal displacement of steel frame structures. Compared with the theoretical calculation method, the results indicate that the linear phase is closer to each other, which means that the finite element model can simulate the structural behavior of damaged steel frames very well. Considering the effect of damage on the layer, a three-storey steel frame is established to analyze the relationship between different layers and the damage index D.

This paper presents a novel vision servoing approach using depth maps to perform robotic motion task with field of view (FOV) constraint. The vision servoing scheme relies on the depth information available from an Red Green Blue-Depth (RGB-D) camera. With respect to the previous approaches, the proposed vision servoing approach has the advantage as follow: First, it does not require the estimation of 3D pose, which only relies on the error of depth maps, without feature matching. Moreover, this method addresses the problem of field of view constraint in the motion process by the frame pose estimation. This visual servoing system is computation efficiency, because it does not need the descriptor and estimation of the pose parameters. We drive the robot towards the target position by the depth map error minimizing. Both simulation and experimental results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed depth map-based vision servoing method.

In this paper, a servoing controller composing both homographic relation and direct depth information is designed without decoupling the depth as past contributions have done. The servoing strategy does not need homograghy matrix decomposing to get rotation and displacement, or massive depth data computing, leading to less complex in calculation and faster in operation. The wheeled mobile robot computes the vector normal of and the distance to the feature plane to obtain relative current pose with a fixed RGB-D sensor mounted in direction of the robot linear velocity. Simulation and experiment results are shown for feasibility verification of the RGB-D servoing strategy.

In this paper,the delay-dependent reduced-order wide-area dynamic output feedback controller(DOFC) with prescribed stability degree is put forward for interconnected power system to damp inter-area low-frequency oscillations.Here,the concept of prescribed stability degree α is applied to maintain all the poles on the left of s— -α in the complex plane.The participation factor method is adopted to select input-output control signals and the Schur model-reduction method is used to obtain the equivalent low-order power system model.The sufficient conditions of asymptotic stability for closed-loop power system with prescribed stability degree are derived based on Lyapunov stability theory and transformation operation in complex plane.In addition,a novel and relatively simple LMI-based method is presented to obtain the parameters of wide-area reduced-order DOFC and calculate the upper bound of transmission delay in wide-area signals.Case studies are carried out on the two-area four-machine system and the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed method are verified by the simulation results under different operating conditions.

In order to find out the wavefront distribution characteristics of supercontinuum light source, adding wavefront distortion description into the evaluation of supercontinuum light source beam quality, a comprehensive and accurate measurement about the wavefront distribution characteristics of a 400-1700nm supercontinuum light source developed by National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) is carried out in this paper. According to the experimental results, wavefront distribution characteristics in different wavelength bands of this 400nm-1700nm supercontinuum source are basically the same, mainly composing of defocus and astigmatism, however, values of distortions are different in specific wavelength bands.

Landsat data have the characteristics of high resolution and wide spectrum, and have been widely used to extract river network. Based on the feature analysis and pretreatment of Landsat-5 Thematic Mapper (TM) data, in this paper, we studied and realized the extraction of river network in Hunan Province, analyzed and dealt with the extraction results of river network. The main research works are as follows: The Landsat-5 TM images were pre-processed by using ENVI5.3 software over the study area in 2011. Radiometric correction, image mosaic and subset were carried out. The Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) and object-oriented classification method were used to extract the river network, and then the extraction results of the two methods of residential area, vegetation area and cloud-containing area were analyzed. The results showed that the extraction of river network based on object-oriented classification method was more complete, and the inaccuracy and omission extraction of river network were much less than that based on NDWI. And then, editor tool in ArcGIS was used to delete the non-river network region and connect the non-connected area of the river network.

This template explains and demonstrates how to prepare your camera-ready paper for The trnH-psbA sequences of 13 Asparagus cochinchinensis populations from 6 provinces of China were studied. The results showed that length of trnH-psbA change and the mutation of GC content were small. The length of trnH-psbA sequences were from 619 bp to 632 bp, and the GC content was about 36%. The total variation rates of 13 populations were from 2.21% to 3.47%, when the missing sites were considered as variation sites. A. cochinchinensis from different sources had 10 information sites in trnH-psbA sequence, accounting for 1.58% of the total sequence. The information sites were located in the sites 8, 9, 120, 457, 458, 486, 487, 491, 492, and 593, respectively. Clustering analysis showed that the Qianxi and Hengshan populations clustered together; Dushan, Yuqing, and Guangzhou populations were grouped; Nanning and Xinning populations formed another cluster. trnH-psbA sequences could identify different A. cochinchinensis populations. Clustering of different A. cochinchinensis populations related primarily to latitude and had little relationship with longitude.

By using the finite element programming, a finite element model of an H-section steel beam (Q345) was established. Then, the influence patterns of the key parameters on the mechanical properties of the damaged steel beam were analyzed, which include the varying damage degree of the cross section, height-to-thickness ratio of the web plate, and the width-to-thickness ratio of flange. The results of the analysis indicate that the damage of the cross-section reduces the stiffness of the steel beam, but it has little influence on the ultimate bearing capacity of the steel beam. Furthermore, the web height-to-thickness ratio and the width-to-thickness ratio of the flange can increase the stiffness and the ultimate bearing resistance of the damaged steel beam.
