Temporal neural networks such as Temporal Kohonen Map (TKM) and Recurrent Self-Organizing Map (RSOM) are popular for their incremental and explicit learning abilities. However, for sub-sequence clustering TKM and RSOM may generate many fragments whose classification membership is hard to decide. Besides they have stability issues in multivariate time series processing because they model the historical neuron activities on each variable independently. To overcome the drawbacks, we propose an adaptive sub-sequence clustering method based on single layered Self-Organizing Incremental Neural Network (SOINN). A recurrent filter is proposed to model the quantizations of neuron activations each as a scalar instead of a vector like in TKM and RSOM. Then it is integrated with the single layered SOINN for adaptive clustering where fragmented clusters in TKM and RSOM is replaced by a smoothed clustering result. Experiments are carried out on two datasets, namely a traffic flow dataset from open Caltrans performance measurement systems and a part of the KDD Cup 99 intrusion detection dataset. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the conventional methods by 21.3% and 9.1% on the two datasets respectively.

The fire tests included fire load and fire temperature had been conducted to twelve reinforced concrete frame structures with ISO834 standard heating up curve. Furthermore, the creep tests had also been done under room temperature to the above twelve structures after cooling and one structure which with the same shape and size but had not undergone the fire test. According to the creep data, the creep curves of each specimen were obtained, the rheological properties of the structures after fire tests were simply discussed as well. The experiments showed that the fire temperature effect on the specimen was larger than the fire load, the higher temperature the specimen suffered, the more it looked like a standard creep curve. When the fire temperature was 600 degrees C, only the first two stages (the initial creep stage and the steady creep stage) of the creep behavior were obtained. While the third stage (the accelerated creep stage) were clearly presented when the fire temperature was 1000 degrees C.

Phosphate (Pi) transporters in plant roots play a major role in phosphate uptake from the soil. The Pht1 family genes are the most important Pi transporter genes and their expression is usually induced under phosphorus (P) deficient conditions. So far it is unclear how eucalypts are able to grow well in P-deficient conditions. The objective of this study was to investigate Pht1 gene family and their expression in eucalypts under different P levels. Two eucalypt species, Eucalyptus dunnii and Corymbia citriodora were grown hydroponically at six P levels (0, 0.01, 0.1, 0.5, 1 and 2 mM). Lower P levels (i.e. 0 and 0.01 mM P) and the highest P concentration (2.0 mM) reduced seedling growth for both E. dunnii and C. citriodora. Members of the Pht1 gene family were identified in C. citriodora (CcPt1 and CcPt2) and in E. dunnii (EdPt1 and EdPt2). The expression of the Pht1 family genes was negatively correlated with the P level applied. At 0 mM and 0.01 mM P supply level, CcPt1, CcPt2 and EdPt1 were up-regulated, but no up-regulation of expression was detectable at higher P supply levels, indicating a P deficiency-induced Pht1 family gene expression. The expression of the Pht1 family genes were higher in E. dunnii than in C. citriodora, suggesting higher P demand of the former than the latter, which matches the higher growth rate of E. dunnii than that of C. citriodora seedlings. The expression of the putative phosphate transporter genes increased with seedling age for E. dunnii but not for C. citriodora, implying that C. citriodora is less sensitive to P deficiency. The present study contributes to a better understanding of the physiological mechanisms for survival and growth of eucalyptus in P deficient environments, and provides basic knowledge for silviculture and management of eucalypts plantations.

Land vehicle localization and navigation mainly relies on the Global Positioning System (GPS)/Inertial Navigation System (INS) integration. In this paper, we propose a unified incremental regression framework that enables vehicle localization with high accuracy in urban environment. Within the framework, we propose a nonlinear Gauss Process Regression (GPR) approach to perform vehicle position prediction during GPS outages. By mapping nonlinear data into high-dimensional space by kernel function, the proposed GPR based approach is able to deal with the nonlinearity issue in GPS denied environment. We design a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based algorithm to optimize GPR hyper-parameters, which are tuned with high time efficiency for vehicular position prediction. By real-world road experiments, the proposed method is evaluated against Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Support Vector Machine Regression (SVR) and Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR). The results reveal that the proposed outperforms the others by 22.8%-65.2% improvement in the positional accuracy.

This paper designed a certification program within the source address based on MAC address of IPv6. Use the NS-3 Simulation the network performance under normal state and ddos attack state. The results show that the program could be effective in preventing a single degree of autonomy within the source address spoofing, and improve network stability.

Through the field test for the noise of anti-sliding and noise-reducing asphalt pavement in the test section and the compare the test results with dense gradation asphalt pavement in the adjacent test section, the analysis results showed that the anti-sliding and noise-reducing asphalt pavement possessed obvious noise reduction performance, but it has a certain attenuation in the later process of using. In general, the anti-sliding and noise-reducing asphalt pavement generates smaller noise than the ordinary dense gradation asphalt pavement, and it has a broad application prospect in urban road.

The geographic features of counties in mountainous and riverside areas make them vulnerable to the rainfall flood caused by torrential flood and river rise, thus bringing enormous damage to the living and production in these counties. Therefore, damages resulting from rainfall flood in those mountainous and riverside counties can be reduced by adopting healthy water environment construction methods such as, exploring to form water holes in lowlands, forming graded ponds at the foot of the mountain, constructing river network within the county, maintaining geomorphologic pattern, and so on, in consistent with the relevant landscape.

In this article we address the problem of the static manycast RWA problem in optical WDM networks. The aim is to maximize the number of manycast requests established for a given number of wavelengths. We present a random optimization algorithm (ROA) to solve the static manycast problem and compare it to another two metaheuristics. ROA achieves up to 80% improvement in request satisfaction over a realistic network namely NSF.

Sloanea hemsleyana, a member of Elaeocarpaceae, is an evergreen thrifty tree with straight trunk. The timber can be used for construction, furniture, etc. The setting percentage of Sloanea hemsleyana is relatively low and seeds storage is difficult. These problems with low emergence rate result in insufficient provenance, thus, how to produce plantlets efficiently becomes a big challenge in current forestry. Tissue culture as an asexual reproduction technique can help in producing large number of Sloanea hemsleyana plantlets with excellent features in a short period. In this study, we focused on explants selection and sterilization, basic medium selection, variety and concentration of hormone, induction, proliferation and differentiation of callus, multiple shoots and root induction. The results were as follows: (1) Explants sterilization: the best sterilization procedure for tender stem of 1-2a explants was 70% ethanol 15 s +0.1 % HgCl2 15 min. (2) Explants and basic medium selection for callus induction: axillary bud was the best explants for Sloanea hemsleyana callus induction; MS medium was the best basic medium. (3) Proliferation and differentiation of callus: the best proliferation medium was MS+1.0 mg/L 6-BA+0.3 mg/L IBA; the best differentiation medium was MS+1.5 mg/L 6-BA+0.1 mg/L IBA. (4) Multiple shoots and root induction: the best medium for multiple shoot induction from terminal bud was 1/2MS+1.5mg/L 6-BA+0.01 mg/L IBA+0.1 mg/L TDZ; the best basic medium for multiple shoot induction was 1/2 MS+1.5mg/L 6-BA+0.1mg/L TDZ; the best medium for inducing root from callus was 1/4 MS+1mg/L 6-BA+1mg/L IBA.

Water glass (WG) has potential applications in many fields, but the poor water-resistance limits its further development. In the article, a kind of modified WG adhesive was designed from WG and poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA), in order to improve the bonding properties between WG adhesive and poplar veneer. Preparation conditions of PVA-WG adhesive were optimized by response surface method. Based on the single factor experiments, the optimum values of the parameters were obtained by Box-Behnken design using the Design-Expert software. The results showed that the important parameters influencing the bonding strength were the mass ratio of PVA to WG, dosage of sodium tartaric acid (TA) and the aging time. The optimum technical conditions were the mass ration of PVA to WG 0.65, dosage of TA 1.00 g and the aging time 5.00 h. At this condition, bonding strength of as-prepared PVA-WG adhesive could reach 1.0407 MPa, close to the actual value of 1.01 MPa, so the model fits pretty well. The as-prepared PVA-WG adhesive had better adhesion properties to poplar veneer, which is meaningful for developing environmental friendly adhesive to replace organic adhesive in the wood-based panel field.

The complexity of optimizations in semi-supervised dimensionality reduction methods has limited their usage. In this paper, an unsupervised and semi-supervised nonlinear dimensionality reduction method that aims at lower space complexity is proposed. First, a positive and negative competitive learning strategy is introduced to the single layered Self-Organizing Incremental Neural Network (SOINN) to process partially labeled datasets. Then, we formulate the dimensionality reduction of SOINN weight vectors as a quadratic programming problem with graph similarities calculated from previous step as constraints. Finally, an approximation of distances between newly arrived samples and the SOINN weight vectors is proposed to complete the dimensionality reduction task. Experiments are carried out on two artificial datasets and the NSL-KDD dataset comparing with Isomap, Transductive Support Vector Machine etc. The results show that the proposed method is effective in dimensionality reduction and an efficient alternate transductive learner.

In order to assist the international popularization of Chinese traditional furniture culture, digital technology is introduced into cultural inheritance of traditional furniture. In this paper, it analyzes the database construction hierarchy of Chinese traditional furniture culture, and the digital conversion means, and thus to build modules of digital platform for Chinese traditional furniture culture. It proposes the methods and means to internationally popularize Chinese traditional furniture culture, based on digital platform, from the perspectives of user perception, cognition, and recognition.

摘要:
Based on deepening the concept of strong connection and weak member, an improved beam-column connection is designed by locally widening the weld of flange at the end of beam, and weakening flange at a certain distance away from the beam end (which called cover-plate reinforced dog-bone connection hereunder). This improved connection can make the plastic hinge be far from the beam-column connection with stronger bearing capacity and better ductility. Based on traditional assumption, the cover-plate reinforced dog-bone connection is usually considered rigid connection. However many researches show that the cover-plate reinforced dog-bone connection is often semi-rigid, and it's performance greatly effects the internal force, displacement, and ultimate bearing capacity of the steel frames, which cannot be neglected. The nonlinear finite element analysis was used to analysis the relationship between the parameter variations and the rotational initial stiffness of the connections. The results can be used as a reference to the designs of steel frames.
