By using the finite element analysis software, the structural behavior analysis of the steel frame of a damaged beam end was carried out to further study the damaged steel frame structures by comparing undamaged and damaged beams (damaged in one end or two ends of the beam). The result of the analysis indicates that damage has a great impact on the horizontal displacement of steel frame structures.
