摘要:
Low frequency power oscillation threatens the secure and stable operation of power systems. Since the appearance of low frequency oscillation there are lots of approaches to analyze this problem. The oscillation source location method based on oscillation energy is adopted to find the cause of the oscillation, and to locate the oscillation source. Forced power oscillation is a kind of low frequency oscillation based on resonance mechanism, and the key is to quickly locate and remove the disturbance source. Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing disturbance source location methods, an oscillation energy calculation method suitable for the generator control systems level location is proposed. With the rich acquisition of generator data by means of phasor measurement unit (PMU), this method has the advantage of not relying on generator parameters. Taking the forced power oscillation caused by the abnormality of the governor system as an example, the superiority of the method is verified.

摘要:
The permanent magnet synchronous machines (PMSMs) have been used in a variety of different industrial applications. The transient parameters of the PMSM determine the safe operation and stability of the whole system. This paper introduces Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) to identify the transient parameters of the PMSM. First of all, based on three-phase sudden short-circuit current, the DC and AC components from the transient current are extracted by using empirical mode decomposition (EMD). Then, by performing curve fitting on the envelope of DC and AC components separately, the transient parameters of the PMSM are obtained. Finally, the current waveform based on identification parameters is compared with the finite element (FE) current waveform to verify the effectiveness of the identification method.

摘要:
The subdomain technique has been widely used to predict electromagnetic performance in permanent-magnet (PM) machines. Due to the high accuracy of magnetic field distribution prediction by subdomain technique, a simple method for electromagnetic performance calculation in surface-mounted PM machines with skewing is proposed. By taking the machine with step-skewed magnets as a combination of multi-machines operating with different rotor positions at the same instant, the influence of the axial magnet segments can be considered in 2D subdomain model of surface-mounted PM machines. Based on the magnetic field analytical solution, the cogging torque, back-EMF and electromagnetic torque is calculated, and the 2D multislice finite-element analysis confirms accuracy of the analytical method.

摘要:
The subdomain model for analytical calculation of magnetic field is widely developed to predict electromagnetic performance in permanent magnet ( PM) machines. Based on the principle of the mutual flux through the stator windings due to step-skewed PMs identical to that from equivalent non-skewed PMs, a 2D subdomain model of surface-mounted PM machines accounting for step-skewed magnets is proposed. By resolving the analytical expressions of the equivalent PMs subdomain, the 3D problem of step-skewed magnets along axis is simplified to a 2D problem, which saves the computational resources and improves the efficiency. The 2D multislice finite-element analysis confirms accuracy of the analytical method.
