摘要:
In order to make out the reasonable drying technology suitable for plantation-grown eucalypt wood, the the colorimetric parameters in seven species of Eucalyptus urophylla, E.grandis, E.urophyllaxE.grandis, E. grandisxE.urophylla, E.dunii, E.cloeziana and E. pellita wood dried at 3 levels of 20 degrees C, 60 degrees C and 100 degrees C were measured and evaluated. The results demonstrated that: (1) The lightness(L*), chroma(C*),hue value(h) and color difference (Delta E*ab) in seven species of plantation-grown eucalyptus wood appeard to be turning point at 60 degrees C, except for E. dunii. (2) Color change at less than 60 degrees C would be mainly affected by the polyphenol compounds, in particular hydrolysable tannins, while either the degradation of hemicellulose or the combination of hemicellulose and polyphenol compounds probably played major role in color change at more than 60 degrees C. (3) With the increasing of temperature, Delta E*ab gradually decreased and the color becamed more homogeneous. Accordingly, it is suggested that it should be reasonable to properly enhance temperature in the last stage of drying plantation-grown eucalypt wood.

Multi-ply laminate biodegradable composites made from kenaf fibers and polylactide acid biodegradable resin we're fabricated by a hot press forming. The effects of different laminate methods and kenaf fiber mass fractions on mechanical properties were investigated. The tensile properties and impact strength of the unidirectional (0 degrees ply) and cross-ply laminate composites increased with increasing fiber mass fraction. This clarified the reinforcement effect of kenaf fibers. Compared with the unidirectional (90 degrees ply) and cross-ply laminate composites, the tensile properties and impact strength of the unidirectional (0 degrees ply) composite showed higher values. This was attributed to the different fiber orientations in these composites. The observations of the tensile and impact fracture modes and SEM micrographs of the fracture surface could support this result.

The chemical components of Cold Water extractives of Castanopsis fissa wood chips were separated and identified by GC/MS after enriching and dissolving in benzene-methanol in order to their economic properties. Relative content of each component was determined by area normalization. 18 compounds representing 80.1% of the extractives were identified. The most abundant constituents were butachlor(40.73%), 2,3-diphenyl-5-(3-methoxyphenyl) pyrrole (4.57%), 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, bis(2-methylpropyl) ester (cas) (4.44%), vitamin E(3.83%), hexanedioic acid, bis(2-methylpropyl) ester (3.51%), 1, 2-benzenedicarboxylic acid, diisooctyl ester (2.93%), cyclohexanol, dodecyl(2.76%), dibutyl phthalate(2.51%), 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-(dimethylaminomethyl) phenol (2.49%), 3-hydroxy-2,4-dimethoxy-6-(methoxymethyl) benzoic acid(2.39%), 4,5,6,7,8,9-hexahydrocycloocta [c] furan-1(3h)-one(2.38%), hexadecanoic acid, methyl ester (cas) (2.27%), hexadecanoic acid, ethyl ester (cas) (2.11%), pentanedioic acid, dibutyl ester (cas) (1.02%) and so on.
