In this article, a new species, Stauronematus sinicus Liu, Li & Wei, sp. nov., of Nematinae (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae) is described, and the species was collected from Shandong, China. The new species is similar to S. platycerus (Hartig, 1840), but can be distinguished from the latter by the following combination characteristics: Only the base margin of the hind coxa is black; the upper part of mesepisternum has sparse pubescent, and the lower half is glabrous; lancet contains 17 annuli, the 3rd-12th sutures with dense annular spines, 1st-5t...
