Bamboo-plastic composites made from bamboo particle and waste thermoplastics were prepared by hot-pressing process.The effects of different processing methods on the physical-mechanical properties of the composites were compared,such as high-temperature processing,polyvinyl alcohol processing,maleic anhydride processing,esterification processing and phenol-formaldehyde resin processing.The results showed that the surface modification by phenol-formaldehyde resin and maleic anhydride could improve the cohesive strength between bamboo and plastic,so as to improve the physical-mechanical properti...
