The definition of heavyweight high-strength concrete (HHC for short) is firstly introduced. According to the characteristic targets of a HHC, suitable experimental material and project are chosen. Via analyzing and commenting on various properties of different minerals such as silica powder and fly ash, a feasibility study for mixed them into concrete to manufacture HHC is conducted, and its mechanics properties and Alkali-resistant property are tested.
