  Lignocellulosic material is an alternative to traditional food ingredients,utilization of wood as feedstock to bioconvesion butanol fuel not only can reduce the production cost,aslo can enlarge the raw material supply.In this paper,butanol fermentation by Clostridium saccharobutylicum of steam-exploded poplar wood hydrolysates was investigated.In steam-exploded hydrolysates,the highest butanol and ABE(Acetone–butanol–ethanol)yields reached 6.88 and 9.53 g/L,respectively,amount to 68.8g butanol and 95.3g ABE/kg poplar wood were achieved wh...
