Enzyme-induced carbonate precipitation (EICP) technology was used to cement calcareous sand. Consolidated drained triaxial compression tests were conducted to investigate the mechanical properties of EICP-cemented calcareous sand (EICP-S) and EICP-cemented calcareous sand mixed with coir fiber (EICP-FS) under varying levels of cementation and confining pressures. Based on the stress-strain curves, a brittleness evaluation index ( B EICP ) suitable for cemented calcareous sand was developed.
