The branchlet and nutshell of Camellia oleifera are produced in quantity while picking and processing the nut each year. However, the abundant branchlet and nutshell of C. oleifera are still underutilized and hence wasted to pollute environment. Therefore, GC/MS technology was used to analyze the top value-added components from the branchlet and nutshell of C. oleifera. After treated with freeze-drying, the branchlet was treated by benzene/ethanol extraction, and the nutshell was treated by direct pyrolysis in Helium atmosphere at 590° C, resp...
