This thesis aims to select the optimal assemble patterns of wood species for structural lumber for wood-based bridge by analysing the bonding strength of eucalyptus veneers, poplar veneers and bamboo mats. Through variance analysis, the experiment results showed that: the compound mode: bamboo mat was used as the core panel, eucalyptus veneers as the surface panel, and the bonding strength is above the national standard.
