Two contaminated soils were collected at lead-zinc mining area located in southern Hunan Province. The bioavailabilities of Pb, Cd, Cu and Zn in the two contaminated soils before and after extracted with an EDTA were investigated with Tessier's five sequential extraction procedures and Leleyter's eight sequential extraction procedures.
