GPS then started a new era of navigation. Even though the system is very sophisticated the user does not have to be an expert to use it. The devices have become so small that they can be carried around without any difficulty to any place. So it can be seen as a tool that introduced accurate navigation to the masses. Its success can also be measured by the fact that other nations are also implementing similar systems.
