Slowpoke (Slo) channels are vital components of the nervous system, making them promising targets for developing neuromodulatory pesticides. However, there is limited research on the physiological roles and inhibitors of Slo channels in agricultural pests like the brown planthopper ( Nilaparvata lugens ).
