The recovery of tin and nitric acid from the spent solder stripper, and the feasibility of recovering nitric acid were investigated by determining diffusion dialysis(DD) coefficient of the dialysis membrane for different spent liquor including iron, copper and tin. The results show that the HNO3 recovery rate was higher than 70 %. The IEM - electrowinning process was proposed to recover tin from the mother solution.
