A new species of Macrophya coxalis group, Macrophya latimaculana Li, Dai & Wei sp. nov, from China is described. The new species is similar to M. oligomaculella Wei & Zhu, 2009, but differs from the latter in labrum and clypeus entirely white; apical 1/3 of abdominal tergite 1 with white maculae, lateral sides of abdominal tergites 2–8 with white and distinctly broad maculae; all coxae largely white, base of fore and middle coxae and ventral side largely of hind coxa with a big triangular, black maculae; hind femur largely black, ventral side ...
