文章对图书馆学中的效率、公平概念作了初步探讨，二者在认知上呈现一些不同，文章在分析这些特征基础上，进一步从文化视角探讨了二者的本质区别，指出效率具有的技术、器物的“器”之特征和公平具有的人文的“道”之特征。
