Assessing cadmium(Cd) and arsenic(As) co-contamination and understanding their drivers are crucial for soil pollution management and remediation. However, the specific patterns of environmental factors and their contributions to the transformation and fractionation of Cd and As across soil particle size fractions remain unclear.
