美国伯克利音乐学院是世界最顶级的现代音乐学院,该校将人文课程定位为专业课程的“平等伙伴”,共开设人文课程160余门,涉及各个学科门类,具有注重夯实全面基础、注重多元音乐文化、注重学科交叉融合、注重实践与研讨等特点.通过比较研究发现,国内专业音乐学院的公共基础课程与伯克利音乐学院人文课程相比,在课程的可选择性、丰富性以及特色课程方面存在较大差距.
