Oxidative stress, resulting from the overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS), represents a significant risk factor for the development of pathological conditions, including liver injury and brain injury (characterized by neurological damage). There is a compelling requirement to investigate more convenient and efficacious drug delivery strategies for the treatment of hepatic and neurological injuries.
