摘要：

Catathelasma ventricosum is a popular edible officinal mushroom in southwest China. The mycelial polysaccharides from Catathelasma ventricosum (mCVPS) mainly composed of β-glucan which was widely regarded as a kind of prebiotic. In order to improve its yield, a mutant strain (mSM-105) by UV mutagenesis combined with ethyl methane sulfonate (EMS) treatment was developed, which showed a higher β-glucan production than the parent strain (SM-16).
