Reed, who lives in all over the world, is one of renewable ecological materials for harvest per year. The environmental protective performance for warm-compaction reed material was studied by GC/MS in order to reveal achievements and existent problems. The main constituents of volatiles at 40°С were. acetic acid(75.08%), di-n-octyl phthalate(3.48%), (+)-epibicyclosesquiphellandrene(1.85%), 2-propanone, 1-hydroxy-(1.69%), [1,1':3',1''-terphenyl]-2'-ol (1.53%), propylene glycol(1.26%), furfural(1.25%), caryophyllene(1.03%), cedrol(0.95%), etc. ...
