Development of wood-ceramic products made from poplar fiber impregnated with phenol-formaldehyde resin was investigated in this study. It was found that the three-dimensiona) structure of wood-ceramic samples was very similar to the one of a typical natural wood. The crystallization and the tendency of graphitization increased considerably with the raise of the sintering temperature. The results showed that the compressive strength, elastic modulus, and abrasion resistance of the wood ceramic samples improved dramatically when the resin conten...
