Powder metallurgical (PM) Nb-25Ta-xTi alloys (x = 5, 15, 25, 35 at.%) were fabricated by the elemental powder sintering technology. Effects of alloying elements and annealing treatment on the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties were investigated by conducting various tests, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron probe microanalyses (EPMA), electron back scattered diffraction detector (EBSD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and tensile tests.
