In order to meet the demand of remote monitoring, this paper introduces a method of realizing remote monitoring based on mobile network and embedded system. Related key technologies include building remote monitoring terminal, sending and receiving of SMS, making and sending of MMS. By using S3C6410 hardware platform and Linux OS, as well as GPRS module, and developing phone specific program and interface in control terminal.
