In order to get states of stress at any position and obtain the description of global stress field in aluminum alloy thick plate, an analytic method is focused on stress research. A discrete analytic function method that can determinate global stress field is proposed by experiment of LRM, XRD and FEM based on function of surface stress and energy balance along the thickness.
