The binderless fiberboard was manufactured using defibrated poplar fiber as a raw material, without adding any additives, holding pressure-cooling process was used before unloading the boards out of the press. The effects of hot-pressing temperature, pressure, mat moisture content and hot-pressing time on the physical and mechanical properties of product, were evaluated and the relation between density and product properties in the test range was also discussed.
