理工院校社科学报主要刊登反映与本校理工科专业密切相关的人文科学的科研成果,从而促进哲学社会科学与自然科学的共同发展。理工院校的现实条件和这种理念导致办刊现状不容乐观。其主要体现是是综合性社科学报在理工类社科学报中普遍存在,路径依赖严重,栏目以一级学科命名,不能体现学术特色。为了改善现状,我们可以准确定位作者（读者）群,开放办刊;以二三级学科命名栏目名称,以体现学术特色,,同时加强编辑队伍的建设。

Journal of social science in universities of science and engineering mainly publishes research fruits of humanities closely related to science and engineering, so as to promote the joint development of philosophical and social sciences and natural sciences. Realistic conditions of such journals and this idea led to an intolerable condition. It mainly demonstrates its over-comprehensiveness, serious-path dependence, columns named with first discipline subjects, and lack of academic characteristics.
