The isolation methods of high-quality genomic DNA of dry Moss plants such as rock samples and years-preserved specimen is one of the key difficulties restricting its researches of molecular biology. Six main methods including common CTAB, high-salt CTAB, improved CTAB, Genome Kit, SDS and fast extraction were used to isolate genomic DNA of dry Moss specimen for many years.
