A Study of the Status Quo and Countermeasures of Table Tennis Competitive Level in Hunan Province

竞技水平是运动员所具备的竞技能力在比赛中的体现，运动成绩是其最直接的表现形式。湖南省乒乓球竞技水平落后的原因有高水平乒乓球教练员太少、青少年后备人才断层严重、运动员职业化水平不高、资金匮乏等因素，提高其竞技水平的对策有加强乒乓球人才的引进和培养、多元化打造人才、加大资金的投入力度、重视竞赛的“推动”作用。

Competitive level of athletes is the athletic ability reflected in the game, athletic performance is the most direct form of expres sion. The reasons on competitive backwardness of table tennis in Hunan province lie in the lack of high level coaches of ping pong ball, lack of reserved young talents, low level of professionalization, and lack of funds.
