乒乓球运动的基本规律是区别于其他运动项目而决定乒乓球运动发展方向的若干本质的体系。现代竞技乒乓球技战术的规律主要有个体性规律、水平运动规律、对抗的全面性规律、快节奏的转换性规律及技战术组合的多维性等规律,从哲学的视角看表现为技战术的对立统一规律、技战术的质量互变规律、技战术的否定之否定规律。
