Five kinds of resisted vegetation (Magnolia grandiflora L. , Euonymus japonicus L. , Trachycarpus fortunei H. Wendl., Ligustrum quihoui Carr. , Pittosporum tobira Ait. ) which grow naturally on the abandoned land of Xiangtan Manganese mine are chosen to be planted in pots; and then, their growth information, nutrient uptake and poisoning from heavy metals have been studied.
