湖南省现有野生兽类82种,其中国家一、二级保护动物分别有4种和18种,以猕猴、黑熊、水鹿、河麂、鬣羚资源较丰富。省地方重点保护动物有14种,以华南兔、银星竹鼠、黄鼬、果子狸等资源丰富。东洋界种类明显占优势。报道了每种兽类分布,最后提出了兽类资源保护对策。

To improve the wildlife conservation and management in Hunan Province, according to the results of our own wildlife investigations since 1986 and by collecting related information, the species, distribution and resources state of the important protected mammals in Hunan Province are systematically reported. 82 wild species of mammalia have been found in Hunan up to now. Among them, 4 and 18 species belong respectively to the first and second ranked protected wildlife of national importance of China, and Macaca mulatta, Selenarctos thibetanus,Cervus unicolor,Hydropotes i.inermis and Capricornis...
