In order to probe a way to transform the lowland secondary forests in themiddle-upper reaches of the Changjiang river and try to find out a synthetical way to evaluate the soil fertility and stand soil growth condition,we have researched into the amount ofsoil microorganisms and the soil enzyme activity of different forest groups in the secondaryforests.
