The shrinkage coefficient, basic density, ring width, latewood percentage and microfibrillar angles of five short-period Pinus taeda L. trees (17. 5-year, site index 18) at the height of 1. 3m, 3. 6m, 5. 6m, 7. 6m, 9. 6m have been determined by means of sampling along the growth ring.
