In order to study the overall mechanical behavior of Timber-Concrete Composite ( TCC) beam bridge, a simple supported TCC beam bridge (8 m ×3.5 m) was designed and constructed .With the numerical analysis by finite element method and tests in laboratory , the load-slip curves, the load-deflection curves and the strain distribution across the mid-span beam were obtained under the service load .The experimental data for real bridge structure were in good agreement with the theoretical results .The resarlts showed tha...
