A novel receiver comprising three stages circuits, namely, voltage-conversion, data-sampling and data-holding is proposed. The circuit design of the receiver is based on TSMC 0.25μm mixed signal model and in accord with USB 2.0 spec.. Simulation results demonstrate that in the receiver designed in this proposed method, the transient time of the input data in data-sampling circuit drops from 700 ps to 140 ps.
