为探究海派转椅的样式及特征规律。以海派转椅相关的研究资料为基础，对海派转椅家具靠背、扶手、座椅和椅腿4个部分进行解构分析，得到海派转椅的造型、功能、装饰等特征。总结出海派转椅追求功能性、雕饰精美、运用新材料和讲究对称性的4个规律。在4个规律的研究基础上，通过与时代背景和地域相结合，对海派转椅发展进行解读，探寻海派转椅蕴含的文化因素。
